Belgrade, 1992. Yugoslavia is falling apart. Freshly graduated Mina and her soon-to-be-recruited boyfriend plan to leave the country that night. The only thing left is to tell her conservative family, at a Saint Guardian celebration. Your Guardian explores all guardian figures of Mina’s life and their ideas of her future as a promising female graduate in a difficult time. Influenced by her protective father, shadow acting mother, fear lead sister and noisy Godparents, Mina is struggling to stop being an obedient figure and follow her spirit.
